My whole entire life, I thought I was born to write for a magazine. However, after going on the interview, and really thinking about my life in that field, I have come to the conclusion that it isn't really what I want. I don't care how many times people yell at me for changing my mind. I can't picture exactly what I'll be doing in the next 5 years. But I do know that saying I want to be in the magazine industry was just the closest field I could relate to my dream job which I haven't dreamt of yet. While I don't know precisely what I want to do with my life, I know precisely what I don't want to do. Although, I would like to write occasional reviews and articles, just not rely on them as my main source of income.
It's funny how something you wanted your whole life turns out to be exactly what you don't want. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Things that are scarier than interviews
As I prepare for my internship interview tomorrow, I can't help but recall even scarier situations in my life.
THINGS THAT ARE SCARIER THAN INTERVIEWS:
-Meeting any of my boyfriend's parents.
-My last interview.
-Being a passenger on an airplane during a thunderstorm.
-Seeing the look on my mom's face when she found out I was stranded in the woods for 8 hours and thought it was fun.
-Bad group project members.
-Public speaking class.
-Seeing ex boyfriends with new girlfriends for the first time, while being extremely intoxicated.
-Not being able to find your dog in the backyard.
-Forgetting to do major homework assignments.
-Having your car overheat when your cellphone just died and you don't know where you are.
-Having your car overheat in the middle of a thunderstorm.
-Having your car overheat. Period.
-Thinking a cop is going to pull you over (but then he gets someone else).
-Losing your flashdrive.
-Not having tampons when you absolutely need one (Especially when you spent your last 5 bucks to chip in for a 30).
I like this list.
But I still don't feel any less scared....
